1) Place empty Pac-King Crate on Skate with flaps
open; if transferring hanging files, place hang rails in slots at
top of crate.
2) Pack files and other contents into crate careful
to leave room at top, to ensure complete closure of flaps.
- Fill out content label and place on designated
area of each Pac-King tag. Do not use tape, envelope labels or markers
of any kind.
3) Close top flaps, insert two self-locking security ties at ends
(optional); set second open crate on first crate.
4) Repeat steps 2 and 3 until all four Crates are packed and tied.
Helpful Suggestions
• Unless empty, crates should never need
to be lifted during a move.
• For easy content label reference, align
all Pac-King crates with identification tags in same direction.
• When filling out "location" on
content label, always indicate the final destination the crate is
to be moved.
• Remove tag from crates after move is complete.
• When transferring hanging files from cabinet to
crate, begin with top drawer of file cabinet and work down.
• When transferring hanging files from crate to
cabinet, begin with bottom drawer of file cabinet and work up.
• Load the heaviest items in the lower crates.
